From the time I first viewed you on Flava of Love’s 1st episode where you beat up girlfriend over a bed and got kicked off the show-I knew you were…SPECIAL.

I don’t know maybe it was your baby voice, or watching you on Charm School where you gave your belongings away, or how you had to fight for everything that you’ve got. Your words resonated within me and I championed you.

When you won the $50k grand prize on Charm School..girrrrrrlll, I was ca-rying (crying) with you…fa real! I mean even your blonde/pink weave which took some getting used to..was the bomb!

Having said all of that…I’m just trying to understand where you’re going with the lip chap?

I think it’s a wonderful marketing opportunity, but is the lip chap for everyone or just men? Your videos seems so sexualized, although the 2nd video is much tamer in comparison to the first lip chap video!

OMG

I guess you, like most people have to do what you gotta do, I just thought since you were so unique, your foray into entrepreneurship would’ve been just as unique. I guess not.

If MTV says NO to Airing a Video…Something’s Wrong!

Eccentric, transvestite dressing, nightmare-inducing singing group Gnarls Barkley has a video called “Run” that will not be getting any airtime by MTV. As hood and tacky as MTV ( who’d air their mamas taking a bath in tomato juice if it meant high ratings) is something is DEFINITELY wrong if they refuse airing. I don’t know if this is a japanese video game or what-but the video is said to may cause epileptic seizures. Huh?? I guess there’s some blinking lights and blah blah going on and maybe it triggered a seizure or two-who knows. Just consider yourself warned. For those who like to walk on the wild side, check out the video entitled “Run” by Gnarls Barkley:

Tiptoe’n thru my girl AJ’s blog, Over Analyze It, she posted a video (courtesy of NBC SNL- YAWNNNNN) that generated a laugh, but after laughing at something that’s not quite laughable…a question formed: Would Obama be considered a buffoon, if he embraced Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson? If seen speaking or socializing with these men, would it endanger his chances at being President?

Singer, Ashanti has been off the music scene (she has been in movies though, ex., “John Tucker must die”) for awhile, and I dug her when she first came out,but then my interest waned. Ashanti has dropped a new cut, called “The Way That I Love U” -the video is said to have been inspired by my fave Oxygen show, “Snapped.“

I must admit, Ashanti’s voice is a lot stronger…mature, and I do like the video. I’ll check out one more song of hers b4 i decide to buy her cd.
