I’ve tried to listen on many occasions to the Tom Joyner Morning Show (TJMS)…but for some reason, I just can’t get into the show. The few times I have listened, the points of interest that held my attention were the scholarships awarded and the giving away of $$$ to people who deserved it. I truly admire Joyner’s philanthropic efforts.
Having said that, I was saddened to read Tavis Smiley quit the TJMS as a featured guest- not due to conflicting interests, money disagreements, or creative differences.
According to Tom Joyner, Tavis Smiley quit the show bcuz he was not receiving love from the black community.

sigh I don’t know what has transpired between listeners and Tavis Smiley, but if that fact is true-then it’s downright shameful.

Here’s a sight for sore eyes! I haven’t seen Dick Gregory since he was peddlin’, promoting his weight loss goods! I heard it was a success too. We may not have seen D.G., in recent years but some things never change…including Dick Gregory.

Ok, brotha man has cashed his income tax check-probably his 1st income tax check and in pursuit of trying to look like a balla pulled some monkeydoodledandy foolishness trick out of his hat and thought burning money would make him look like a “G.” Ok, he’ s burning money…I wonder if he takes care of his kids? You know what? I’m gone leave THAT ONE alone…ok?
Now we all know this stupid idea, will generate copycats. We know some idiot, who’s afraid of thinking for himself, will get a dimly lit lightbulb over his head and think it’s a grand idea to burn up $$$ too, and so on, and so on, and so on.
