“Charybdis” - a sculpture made of water, and acrylic polymer is located at Seaham Hall in Northern England.
It was created by William Pye and is just ONE of his water vortex creations.
According to Greek mythology Charybdis (Kharybdis) was a goddess/sea monster who had a whirlpool in the messina straits.

whatev, this sculpture is still a sight to behold.
