No Comments »Damon Wayan has entrusted ABC with his career again. I guess he didn’t learn from his lat sitcom “My Wife & Kids” when they were cancelled, despite good ratings. I guess you gotta make the donuts by any means necessary.
The sitcom is entitled “Never Better” and Wayans stars as a recovering alcoholic who is striving to do right by his wife and kids.
I hope it’s better than it sounds.
Seriously.
And I BET, he won’t be saying NI*GER anytime soon on ABC, either! lol

Step 1 of the 12 Steps to Sobriety is:
“We (I) admitted we (I) were (was) powerless over our (my) addiction - that our (my) lives (life)had become unmanageable.”
The reason I brought that step up, is to set up a quote from Bobby’s book:
“I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice…”
Ok, maybe the paragraph before that statement should’ve been included so that assumptions can’t be made, and the above statement could be taken out of context.
But since it isn’t…here goes:
If Bobby thinks we’re dense enough to believe he had never used cocaine until Whitney, then I’m a blonde barbie doll, with a 26in. waist, with $50m in my bank account. Since we all know that’s a lie…we also know Bobby ain’t keepin’ it real either. Now I’m not saying Whitney didn’t have the resources to introduce bobby to some new-fangled drugs, but I’m willing to bet he tried ‘caine at least 4,562,114 x’s before hookin’ up with Whitney.
Man puhhhleeezze!
What’s messed up is Bobby has to pimp his relationship with Whitney in order to remain relevant. Cuz keepin’ it real, noone is interested in Bobby rehashing his drug use and child support payment issues.
Uh-Uh.
Erryone wants to hear about WHITNEY.
Sadly, I do too.
It’s morbid curiosity.
I want to know about Whitney, but I don’t want to know.
However, I wish I would buy Bobby aka “King of R & B’s” book.
Not even on my worse “fiend out for a book” day.
I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to generate an income, right?

What does Whitney think of all of this? According to People Magazine, Whitney said:
“Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he needs to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it’s to set the record straight.”

Ashanti has dropped a new cut, called “The Way That I Love U” -the video is said to have been inspired by my fave Oxygen show, “Snapped.“

What’s Love Gotta To Do With…Releasing A Tell All??

The book will detail his marriage to Profitess Juanita “Juanie-B” Bynum.
It’s like watching the aftermath of a bad car accident.
You don’t want to look, but you look anyway-hoping to see something you’ve never seen b4! That’s where I am with this book-morbid curiosity. I don’t want to read that mess, but I do. I don’t want to buy that book, but I probably will. I don’t want to put money in Weaks’ pockets, but I’ll probably do just that.
That makes me just as messy as they are.
Well, not THAT messy-but u get the idea.
I care, but I don’t.
I hate that it’s come to this….the demise of their marriage, but God can still cause dead, dry bones to live. I don’t know. After the releasing of this book, I think Weaks’ has a better chance of getting married in the pits of hell. But then again-we are talking about Juanie B. Who knows what she’s up to next? The mud has now been slung in Juanie B’s corner. People put on your rain gear..it’s about to get ugly.

In an interview with Barbara Walters, which is set to air tonight, 2.24.08, Vanessa expresses her affinity for Botox by saying:
“I certainly do Botox, which I definitely think that almost every woman that I know has imbibed.”
She goes on to say,
“It’s a miracle drug - no cutting, nothing - and I love it!”
I just wish Vanessa was a little more conservative in touting Botox. Now Vivica is going to come around folks with “Bratz Dolls’ lips!”
And Vanessa better be careful too…I guess she hasn’t seen the story that says Botox Kills
