Viva Las Vegas

So things are very serious with Nardo and I.  VERY SERIOUS.  So much so that we know marriage is in our immediate future.  He asked me…what kind of wedding do you want??  I replied, I’m  41 (never married), and I can tell you I don’t want a big azz wedding with 16 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls blah blah blah.  I want us to just jump on a plane and hit up Las Vegas, chill in one of the Las Vegas Hotels for a coupla days, lose/win some $$ and then come back home and start our new life together.  He asked, that’s what you really want?? I said, that’s what I really want.  

While many women’s dreams is to have a big azz, ostentatious wedding-one that rivals the last big azz, ostentatious wedding they attended…that’s not me.  I’m very low-key.  I want to be married to the man I love with our children (8 total-all adults-YES!!) in attendance.  I mean, this is the beginning of all of our lives together. Also, there’s soooo much to do out there.  Beides the obvious-gambling-there’s shopping, eating, the shows…can you say Cirque de Soleil…I’ve watched it on TV enough…I want to go to the actual show.  I want to go to the M & M’s store, I want to visit NY/NY again…when I went last year, it was being remodeled. 

So have you or anyone you know gotten married in Vegas? Are you/they still married??  How was the Las Vegas matrimonial experience?
